While our favorite footwear brands are in the lab coming up with new ways to showcase innovation through technology, many are making sure that sustainability is on the radar. Realistically, we have to work to take care of the only planet we live on correct? The Swoosh is all about style, and this summer they are dropping a collection that speaks to both style and using sustainable materials.

Two popular silhouettes from Nike's lineage of great sneakHERs will be a part of the Plant Color Collection. This collection is inspired by alternative ways to make color and also utilizes plant-based dyes. Each pair of the Air Max 95 and Blazer Low both come in two colorways with canvas uppers. One variation with more creams and earth tones, while the other sneaker uses palettes that speak perfectly to the summer SZN (i.e. pinks and blues).

This Nike Plant Color Collection has definitely made it on our wish list. As it gets closer to Summer 2019, we expect more information on release dates. Keep it locked as we keep these on the sneakHER radar, and tag us in your personal sneakHER style on Instagram so we can give you a shout.

UPDATE:

All of the Nike Plant Color collection is available via SNKRS app, and will release on 4/18. The silhouettes range from $95 USD to $170 USD. We have added easy shopping buttons below for each pair.
