First Look: WMNS Air Jordan 1 Mid "Maroon"
This year, we’ve seen a variety of iterations of both the Air Jordan 1 Mid and the Air Jordan 1 Low so, we’re not particularly surprised that we’re seeing yet another offering. We are, however, pleased to see that we’re seeing both as Women’s exclusives and in a colorway that is perfect for fall vibes. After we originally spotted these back in September, we’ve received official images of the Women’s Air Jordan 1 Low “Black/Maroon”, indicating a proximal release for the pair.
Coming in tandem is its Mid-cut sister in the same black-toe style with similar color-blocking and maroon red accents. Both feature smooth leather construction throughout, a departure from Jumpman’s affinity for suedes, patents, and tumbled leather in the past. However, these are hardly simple in execution. Adorning the laces are little bits of Jordan “shoelery” comprised of insignia in gold including the iconic Wings logo, a Jordan bar logo, and “WOMEN” boldly engraved into the lace dubrae.
The WMNS Air Jordan 1 Mid “Maroon” are currently poised for a release in Asia on November 29th with a $125 MSRP. The WMNS Air Jordan 1 Low “Maroon” is still a TBD but, is expected to retail for $90 MSRP.
