All-Star weekend is not only a big event for basketball but for the sneaker industry as well. When we caught a glimpse of the Nike Dunk that was designed to commemorate the historic weekend in basketball we we’re all asking the same question: when are they dropping? Dunk’s are always grabbing our attention but one specifically designed with All-Star Weekend in mind was definitely grabbing our attention. Festivities may be looking very different this year, but the hype around the sneakers dropping as part of the celebration are remaining the same.

Although it origins are rooted in the game of basketball, the Dunk quickly became a popular silhouette in the streets. 35 years after its original debut, the silhouette still delivers bold, defiant style and remains a coveted sneaker that spans across both sport and culture. The Nike Dunk High ‘Barely Green’ has typical Dunk color-blocking aesthetics for an understated feel. Barely green hued leather is seen on the toebox, sides, and wrapped around the heel while black patent leather overlays and Swoosh creates a stark contrast that ties the whole look together. In addition, a commemorative NBA All-Star insignia with the originally-scheduled host city of Indianapolis, Indiana appears at the heel. Scroll through the snaps below for a closer look.
