Converse has some of the most classic and recognizable styles within the sneaker market. Their classic Chuck Taylor has been reimagined countless times for a variety of collections, collaborations, and has been used as canvas for individual expression by the casual consumer. Now, Converse is teaming up with streetwear brand Stüssy for a shoe that stays true to the OG while still throwing in some fun and modern details.

Images of the Stüssy x Converse Chuck 70 High has been floating around the internet and at first glance it looks like your typical Chuck 70. However, on closer examination it has a few differing details from the originals. The new co-branded iteration has a black canvas upper and classic white rubber midsole to keep things fairly simple. The most standout detail perhaps is the studded star on the side and stitches on the tongue that emerges from combining Converse’s star branding and Stüssy’s crown motif. When looking at the opposite side of the shoe you’ll notice the patch is missing but will notice it has been intentionally stitched on the inside of the shoe. Stüssy branding is seen on the inside of the tongue. Check out the images below for a closer look.
