Nike seems to be trying to up the ante of their Air More Uptempo lineup. Fresh off the heels of the Air More Uptempo slide, Nike’s giving us an early taste of fall. The Air More Uptempo has a rich history, but like many other Nike silhouettes it’s since moved on from being strictly a basketball shoe. We couldn’t help but notice Nike is pushing out more GS and WMNS exclusive releases right now. We’re not complaining one bit and lucky for us too because this wheat colorway is calling our name!
This WMNS Air More Uptempo is decked out in a mixture of wheat, white and gum light brown. The leather material is the spotlight on this sneaker since it makes up the entire base of the shoe. We get a small taste of different textures at play with the bubble “AIR” logo made from a quilted stitched material. Minimal mesh detailing can be spotted on the tongue with corded laces. Rounding everything out is a white midsole on top of a gum colored outsole with the classic air bubbles peeking through.
