The UGG x Telfar Collection Releases Next Week

When we looked at handbag trends for the fall/winter season, fuzzy and mini options were definitely on the list. This year, in an effort to put our dollars back into our own communities, we have made a conscious effort to purchase from black-owned business and one brands that has come out on top is Telfar. With a line of minimal designs and vegan leather accessories, what isn’t there to love?
Brooklyn-based brand Telfar was founded in 2005 by Liberian-American designer Telfar Clemens with the aim of creating a brand that is inclusive and for the people. Although Telfar has been feeling the love for a few years now, this year they have seen an explosion in demand that doesn’t seem to be letting up. The fairly priced shopping bag is Telfar’s top selling product and sells out within seconds. So, it’s no wonder that the UGG x Telfar Collection will be handled a bit different that the typical release. The collection will include a small and medium handbag that is constructed of chestnut suede and a creamy, off-white shearling trim. Both bags will have similar features to Telfar’s classic leather shopping bags such as exaggerated branding on the front and crossbody straps for versatile wear. WHEN IS THE UGG X TELFAR COLLECTION RELEASING?
As mentioned earlier, this release will be a little different that the usual. The UGG x Telfar Collection with be available for presale on Monday 11/30 for 24 hours only. The small and medium sized bags with both be available for $192 and $290, respectively. Once purchased through presale, you will receive a holiday card in the event you want to gift the bad to someone or treat yourself for the holidays. Bags are expected to ship out during March and Juneteenth 2021. Yes, next year (sigh). However, if you’re looking at the glass being half full rather than half empty, it means you will be guaranteed a bag and you’ll have next winter’s bag 6 months early.
