Here at CNK, we always champion Black and Brown women in and around the sneaker and streetwear industry. We love seeing these women build brands, build their own platforms, and open spaces for other like-minded women to join. It all comes down to the importance of sisterhood and doing what we can to cultivate those relationships. It goes way past just sneakers. Melissa Carneige, CKO (Chief Kicks Officer) of Kicks and Fros, is one of the many phenomenal women in the sneaker industry that has made this her mission as well.

Kicks and Fros has recently launched their new Sisterhood collection, in collaboration with artist and illustrator Melissa Koby, celebrating sneaker culture and “the Black and Brown women who make it dope.” This collection is to inspire all of us. We are all walking down different paths, but we are also a force to be reckoned with when we come together. The collection includes a t-shirt, a crewneck, and enamel pins. The t-shirt and crewneck include a small pocket text on the front that reads, “Sisterhood. Community. Sneakers.”, and on the back includes a drawing of four women with text that reads, "Celebrating sneaker culture and the Black and Brown women who make it dope." The t-shirt is short-sleeved and comes in an off-white color, and the crewneck sweatshirt comes in black. The enamel pins come in three options: a sneaker money pouch design, a K&F logo design, and a K&F sneaker design.

IS THE KICKS & FROS X MKOBY SISTERHOOD COLLECTION STILL AVAILABLE?
