Target Celebrates Black History Month with Black-Owned Brands

Image: Target

Target may be the only corporation to actually get it right when it comes to being an ally for Black people. For the past two years, we’ve seen them consistently keep up with their initiative to support and celebrate the Black community and Black-owned brands. They made their moves even bigger in 2021 when they announced a $2 Billion commitment over the next few years of adding more Black-owned products in their stores and working with more Black entrepreneurs. This Black History Month was nothing short of spectacular to see some new brands and some we’re already fans of that were a part of Target’s “Celebrate Black History Month 2022” presentation.

For a limited-time this month, Target included six collections from Black-owened businesses that would be included in its Black History Month one-stop-shop inside of Target locations. From fitness apparel to candles, we are loving these brands and have definitely been shopping all month. All products are super affordable, running from $15-$30, and can be found online if you can’t make it to a location near you. As we close out another Black History Month, take note of these six brands and continue to support them now and after the month is over.
