With experiential retail in high demand, Jordan Brand has always been forward thinking in what’s next. A very poignant question comes to mind. “How do we continue to elevate our consumer experience?” The Jumpman is no stranger to cooking up new concepts to connect with us intentionally and strategically over decades of on-court/off-court moments.

To continue celebrating the legacy and future of basketball, Jordan Brand has opened it’s first concept store, The World of Flight in Milan, Italy today. Positioned at the intersection of basketball and streetwear culture, the first-of-its-kind retail store aims to drive a deeper connection to us (AKA the consumers). Sneakers have always been a universal language of creative expression for so many people. This new store feels like a gift to bridge the present day digital experience with a physical space to vibe (and shop) with more people who love the brand and what it represents.

The first store is a 363 square-meter space that houses Jumpman footwear and apparel for the whole family - Men, Women, and Kids. Located at Via Torino, 21, the store has some great amenities and ways to build community through the shopping experience.

A few highlights include:

  • Elevated release experiences of the latest Jordan heat

  • Customizable Jordan products

  • Exclusive access to Members Only events

  • Workshops that focus on customizing, personalization, and sneaker preservation

  • A lounge that serves as a community space

  • SNKRS app content screens and pick-up windows

From the Jordan press pages, we find out why the geographic location was so special.

Italy’s connection to the Jordan Brand legacy runs deep - it was here that MJ famously shattered the backboard in 1985, cementing himself in local lore and love.

With World of Flight, we unveil a destination centered in our heritage and basketball culture. This new retail experience positions us to continue our growth journey as a brand and deepen our connection with our consumers.
— Craig Williams, President of Jordan Brand

There is so much rich culture in the Jordan Brand ecosystem. From educating us on the history to highlighting and amplifying the voices of artists and creatives - the World of Flight store will be a game changer and something we have been looking forward to.

At CNK Daily we can resonate with the ethos of creating community through a common thread. Jordan Brand wants us to feel at home when we enter the Flight Lounge and get hype when we get a sneak peek at the most coveted sneakers about to drop. Our only question is - when are y’all coming to Texas?!!?
