Nike stays front and center when it involves community initiatives. With an intentional focus on sports programs and bridging accessibility, the latest partnership with The Armory Foundation was suited as a perfect union. The Armory is a well-known track & field facility serving the Washington Heights area that has a variety of programs for youth of all ages. While the iconic running complex has been the track & field epicenter for Olympic athletes, at their core, The Armory aims to empower and enhance the experiences for younger community.

With the new partnership announced over the weekend, the facility will be officially named The Nike Track & Field Center at The Armory. This dynamic duo will elevate the running game for so many and continue to celebrate the past and future miles that The Armory has been a hub for. That’s more than one million miles per year to be exact.

Our partnership with The Armory Foundation underscores Nike’s deep commitment to ensuring that communities have access to running and opportunities to play and stay active.

Both Co-Presidents went on to say that preparedness and success beyond the classroom can be closely tied to instilling a love for movement and fun opportunities to thrive in that environment. That is what both powerhouse brands (The Armory and Nike) are all about.

So what’s coming up for The Nike Track & Field Center at The Armory? A pretty big deal is the Nike Indoor Nationals which is a marquee track event for high school athletes.
