Around these parts, we're big on making on sneakers work for our budget. While a stark contrast to the overall sneaker world which pretty much screams "[expletive] yo budget", as women we know how important both versatility and a good price point are. You want something that won't just pop on IG for the moment and will be wearable with your jeans, your skirts, your dresses, and your leggings - because leggings are bae. You want all this without having to make a decision re: whether or not to eat until pay day, right? You know we feel you.

So, when I we stumbled upon this revamped Saucony Jazz over on one of our favorite IG accounts, we had a to take a look. When we discovered that it rings in at $60 USD, well...let's just say we knew you'd like to hear about this one.

The Saucony Jazz Original has been around for the longest (since 1981) and has been a major player for the Boston-based brand. The Cozy version boasts a heathered jersey upper (think a really dope sweatshirt for your feet), while the shock-absorbing striped EVA midsole doubles up on its ease of wear.

Diamond detailing, a removeable insole, and a drawstring cord lace option round out the upper while rubber traction on the outsole ups the durability factor.

For those of you who are looking for something a little less pricey to start your sneaker collection, trying these out couldn't hurt. And, at just $60 USD, they won't result in too much damage to those monthly budgets we love so much.
