Sneaker Diary: Nike x OFF-WHITE Air Max 90

Happy Wednesday loves! I’m currently trying to play a significant bit of catch up. It's crazy how a weekend can throw you off - LOL. It's officially November and I seriously can't believe how quickly this year has gone, BUT I'm definitely ready for a cold front and an opportunity to layer up.

I opted to get my first taste of real fall weather with this outfit I wore to our CNK Friendsgiving event here in Dallas this past weekend. In preparation for the event, my friends at Nike sent me a pair of the Nike x Virgil Abloah OFF-WHITE Air Max 90's and, let's just say I was in love the minute I opened the box. I knew I had to wear them immediately, but I also wanted to make sure I was comfy enough for a dinner with some of my favorites in Dallas.

For those of you who read this site on a regular basis, you’ll know I’m big on versatility. I like items that can be mixed and matched, worn multiple ways, and utilized throughout the year. I headed to H&M because they're always good on price points and they offer quite a few items that I know I can keep in my rotation for years. High waist jeans are a staple in my wardrobe and I needed a new black pair ASAP and I wanted a sweater designed to pop against the AM90's. I found the perfect combo with a pair of $20 high waist jeans and an oversized sweater that was warm enough for colder weather and breathable enough for the yo yo of Texas weather. I paired both with this white and black striped bodysuit that I've been wearing faithfully since I wore it in another Sneaker Diary last year. A bodysuit can easily be worn with denim, a pencil skirt, or under a sweater or jacket and this one fit perfectly with the overall feel of my fit. Honestly, I've gotten so much use out of this bodysuit, I'll probably buy more in different colors. Luckily, BooHoo often has sales so I can grab a few for a steal. Right now, this one is only $10.

This oversized knit sweater pulled the look together entirely and at $35 it's worth the investment to keep in your collection for seasons to come. It’s a breathable knit that can definitely be worn in the fall, winter, and even spring. I topped everything off with a trifecta of gold chains and over-the-top bamboo earrings for a city-meets-cozy vibe.

I got so many compliments on these sneaks and more than a few "OHMYGOD!" moments when I gave people a sneak peek on IG. Air Max 90's have been a staple in my collection since I got my first pair in '95 after my mother refused to actually get me the Air Max 95. Haha! Unfortuntely, my exact pair aren't available yet, but I picked a few options that would go just as good with this fit. You can shop the style below.

This particular Air Max 90 is from the [Nike, Inc. x Virgil Abloh: Ten Icons Reconstructed collection][1] which folks have been going ham over for weeks. Lucky for all of you, the collection launches globally at NikeLab stores and select retailers beginning November 9, 2017.
