Sneaker Diary: Keeping Warm With Centre Reversible Jackets x AM 93s
If you've followed along with our Sneaker Diaries for some time now, you probably know that I'm pretty open about my love for Centre, a local boutique here in Dallas that stays with the dope apparel and, one we've done a few events with in the past like this one back in March.
Recently, I made my way to Centre to get a look at what's new in sneaker inventory and, I was lucky enough to come up on a few new pieces from their latest in-house apparel collection. So, this past weekend while I was shooting for another post, I decided to snap a few shots in their Reversible Varsity Jacket that will probably be my cold weather go-to when winter returns to the Metroplex. The jacket features a black velvet lining which doubles as the second side of the coat.
Since the jacket is such a statement piece, I wanted to keep it simple with a black short sleeve bodysuit and black classic leggings. The black really brought out the color in the jacket and the extra detail in the Air Maxes that have quietly transitioned from my summer and fall to my winter. Last, but not least: these Nike Air Max 93s have easily been in my rotation since I bought them for Air Max Day last March. Easy to slip-on and slip-off, the OG "Dusty Cactus" colorway of the Air Max 93 was a perfect pairing with my colorful varsity. Originally inspired by the shape of a milk jug, the Tinker Hatfield design sports a white and black upper with turquoise branding and, FYI, was the first Air Max to introduce a 270-degree Air unit in the heel. Basically, I love these and I need more colors.
