Sneaker Diary: Sky High in the Air Max Dia

I don't know about you but, this spring has been incredibly busy for me. From our team trek to Portland to our first event (EVER) in Charlotte with Be Social x Women Within, it seems as if I've been in constant go mode. In between travel there were a few panels I spoke on here in the DFW area. In all honesty, I probably should have paced myself with saying yes to panels and I'll probably be saying no until at least Q4 but, every single one definitely offered a chance to learn from other women - which is always a plus.

Speaking at a few events also gave me an opportunity to pull a few things out of my closet that I haven't worn in quite awhile. Cheers to keeping my coins in my bank account and going with something I already owned, amiright!?

For the 'Fashionably Faithful' event hosted by F-Nation Foundation, it was an uncommonly cold day here in Dallas - like, 48 degrees cold. We happened to be on a rooftop in the middle of downtown so, I opted for a bit of a warmer option with a Naked Wardrobe turtle neck bodysuit, a Nike Techfleece jacket, a pink strappy jumpsuit I got from Zara back in 2017, and a pair of Nike Air Max Dias I picked up while on a shopping trip at the Swoosh Company Store in Portland.

I first grabbed a pair of Dia's on my trip to Houston for our Managing Editor's birthday and I fell in shoe love so, I knew I wanted to get another pair in a more versatile colorway - hence the simple black and white option.

As one of the latest additions to the Nike Air Max family, the Air Max Dia SE features sleek lines and a sheer upper that combines classic Air Max elements into a lightweight, comfy and versatile sneaker that you can pair with everything from skirts and dresses to jeans and jumsuits. Together with its smart toe-down profile and extra lift, the Nike Air Max Dia SE gives a bit of height without a lot of bulk.

This one was perfect for the panel and my recycled jumpsuit. Note: if you have a strappy dress or jumper in your closet, you can repurpose it for colder weather by wearing it on top of a long sleeve shirt or bodysuit. I personally love pulling out summer staples and revamping them for fall/winter.
