Snaps: adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott 2015 Fall/Winter Lookbook

Snaps: adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott 2015 Fall/Winter Lookbook

Jeremy Scott pairs hippie movement-inspired looks with basketball-themed swag in his latest collection for adidas Originals.

The venerable designer (and celeb fave) returns once again with a look at the Fall/Winter 2015 offering, which offers a varied mix for both men and women. Inspired by the hippie movement in the ’60s and ’70s, the collection draws from the “flower power” look of bright-printed jackets, shorts, and barely there bikini sets...because Fall/Winter in California looks completely different, y'all.

Faux fur is also added to the mix along with an interwoven basketball jersey dress that will probably turn up on Katy Perry sometime this year. The gallery is topped off with another look at the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals “B-Ball” Wings hi-tops, which are available now. The rest of Jeremy's colorful collection will hit retailers on September 11.

Lookbooks: Packer Shoes x '47 Brand "Independent Pleasure Club" Collection

The folks at Packer Shoes join 47 Brand to create the "Independent Pleasure Club" Collection. Paying homage to the Independent Pleasure Club of New Jersey – one of the original “Black Fives” squads during the segregated Black Fives Era of basketball from 1904 up until 1950 when the NBA became racially integrated – the collaborative collection highlights the original IPC team colors of forest green and ivory throughout the Captain RF snapbacks, two Open Court T-shirts, an Alpha tank top, “All-Time” crewneck sweatshirt, Overload jacket, and IPC Pennant.

Plus just like the pairing in the lookbook, the collection will work nicely with a fresh pair of Stan Smith's.

The Packer Shoes x ’47 Brand “Independent Pleasure Club” collection is available now at Packer Shoes’ online store.

CNK Wish List: Adidas Ultra Boost Collection w/ Stella McCartney

February 2015 found adidas following up the Kanye Boost release with the news that their flagship Boost-cushioned running shoe, the Ultra Boost, would be the foundation for the Ultra Boost Collective. The goal of the Ultra Boost Collective seems to shift towards embracing both a high-performance sneaker and a fashion staple, featuring creative collaborative designs by the likes of Stella McCartney, Kris Van Assche, kolor’s Junichi Abe, and adidas Creative Directors Dirk Schönberger & James Carnes.

Kicking off the collective is the just-unveiled silhouette by none other than Stella McCartney. Already a long-time collaborator with adidas, McCartney restructures the upper of the Ultra Boost and opts for a black/smoked pink/eggshell color palette paired with mesh side panels and striped detailing on the toes and heels.

The Ultra Boost by Stella McCartney will be available exclusively in London in honor of the London Marathon on April 25th. It will be available globally on May 8th and will retail for $295 USD.
