Snaps: Imogene Barron Slides Through With The Coveteur

Slide thru, Imogene. Aussie stylist Imogene Barron recently chopped it up with one of my favorite e-stops and I couldn't help but notice that her slide game was mad proper. That wasn't quite what I was expecting from the woman who styled and creative directed the Miley Cyrus metaphorical middle finger to Disney (a.k.a. the album cover of Bangerz). She's also the eye behind fashion films for the likes of Adidas, Dazed &Confused and Dion Lee. Plus, she's designed her own collection for Stance Socks which, in my opinion, is the cherry on top of the proverbial sundae.

Anywho, Barron handed over the keys to her LA bungalow and showed off her collection of Adidas/Nike slides, New Balance jolts, and even a pair straight from this British stunner's most recent three-stripe collection.

#CNK Discussion: Will You Be Sneakerbooting This Winter?

Top: Nike Dunk Sky Hi Sneakerboot For many sneaker-loving ladies, the passion for kicks isn't something that comes and goes as seasons shift, but when winter weather (read: Snowvember) rears it's often ugly and messy head many of us keep our favorite kicks in their boxes and opt for more weather-appropriate options. Timbs, anyone?

While the concept of the sneakerboot has been around for quite some time, it seems many of the brands we love have revved up their winter weather appeal this season with a number of options that provide equal parts kick appeal and November through February protection. A few brands (Nike, in particular) have taken their sneakerboot appeal to us ladies, bringing forth cute silhouettes packed with suede, mesh, and enough protective paneling to guarantee your comfort.

So, will you be hopping on the sneakerboot bandwagon? My answer is yes. After seeing a few decent joints that caught my eye, I don't mind biting the $100-180 USD bullet and getting my purchase on. Take a look at some of my favorite picks below and let us know if you'll be sneakerbooting this winter.

L to R: Women's Air Max 1 Sneakerboot ($150.00), Lunarlite Sky Hi Sneakerboot ($140.00), Roshe Run Hi Sneakerboot ($100.00), Dunk Sky Hi Sneakerboot ($180.00)
