Retro sneakers have a special place in my heart and are always catching my eye. The Nike Air Skylon II was no exception. First teased by Sean Wotherspoon in May, the shoe finally released in early June with two colorways. The silhouette is super casual and can be styled easily. The best thing about retro sneakers are their story and how they came to be. Nike’s Air Skylon II was the first shoe to incorporate the air unit in the front and heel which is super important. It’s so cool to see how far the technology in our sneakers has come.

Just for the ladies, this late 90s sneaker released in three stunning colorways that are not very expensive. You can cop these beauties in Orange, Purple and Teal iterations. Each shoe features a white nylon upper with a synthetic suede overlay. The standout feature of the sneakers are the colorful mesh splatter effects underneath the swoosh. Sitting atop those signature air units, the original phylon foam covering is updated with today’s softer foam for more comfort. These retro kicks are finished off with retro branding on the heel and tongue.

Ringing in at $100 USD, these retro sneakHERs are easy on the eyes and the wallet. I’m definitely a fan of the Nike Air Skylon II and it’s interesting 90s look. If you’re feeling these classic kicks, you can SHOP THE SNEAKS below.
