Adidas Just Added the FYW S-97 To the Consortium Family

This year has already been one of new opportunities for the Adidas Consortium group. Since it’s inception, the brand was all about partnering with retailers and collectives who had a fearless and unique approach to collaboration. This year, the brand is focusing more on in-house designed silhouettes. The latest release from the team is the FYW S-97 and this all white colorway is giving me all those cloud-like vibes.
The FYW S-97 made its first appearance in 1997 as one of the first running sneakers to utilize adidas’ Feetyouwear technology. That cloud-like sole was super unique and gave the shoe an unforgettable aesthetic. The SS19 version of the sneaker stays as close to the original release as possible with the incorporation of a mesh and leather upper and the Torsion midsole system.
