Vans have always stood out as a staple brand that provides us with both affordable and durable sneakers. Their staple silhouettes have served as a canvas for telling our stories and connecting with the culture. Now they're reinventing the classics with a sustainable twist to create a product that makes a more thoughtful product from the ground up.

The Vans Eco Theory Collection is a 15-piece collection that takes the Authentic, Slip-on, Old Skool, and Sk8-Hi and gives them each a sustainable update. Each silhouette has an upper composed of 100% organically grown cotton that is made from non-GMO natural seeds and grown without the use of synthetic pesticides. The classic white outsole is swapped out for a natural rubber outsole that still maintains the grip and durability that Vans has been known for since 1966. On the Authentic, Old Skool, and Sk-8 Hi the standard white laces are swapped out for renewable jute laces which is natural fiber that’s grown with minimal water and is considered a fast growing renewable crop. Check out the images below for a closer look.
