This Converse One Star is Inspired by 90's Rave Culture

Before the age of smartphones social media, techno music enthusiasts found connection and community through word-of-mouth nightlife events. You had to know someone who knew someone to get the deets of where and when the next rave would be held. Exclusivity kept these raves safe and contained, creating a home away from home for alternative people.

Inspired by this 90’s underground rave scene, the Converse One Star Warped Board Low Top sneakers come in two colorways. Both the ‘medium green’ and ‘black’ versions have a dizzy, warped checkerboard design across the body, offset by soft grey suede. The classic Converse star pops in white on the inside and outside upper. Flat skater laces and chunky white rubber sole round out this nostalgic sneaker.
