The Nike N7 Collection | Release Info

Since 2007, Nike has been creating designs by and for the indigenous population. In 2009 the Swoosh launched N7, a product line influenced by the Native American Wisdom of the 7 generations. Nike N7 is dedicated to supporting Native American and Indigenous youth and getting them moving, an ideal that is based on their core philosophy that focuses on championing athletes from all communities and expanding sport for the next generation. Let’s take a look at what this year's N7 collection has in store for us.

The Nike N7 Collection for 2022 explored indigenous identity through basketball. This year’s lineup includes the Free Crater Trail Moc, the Air Max 95, the Kyrie 5 Low. Apparel will also be offered as part of the collection that includes a jumpsuit, a crew, a tee, and a basketball short. Taping details seen through the collection and the color palette on both the footwear and apparel pay homage to traditional ribbon skirts and weaving techniques. It recognizes the craftsmanship and detailing by indigenous women who wear the skirts at ceremonies and other important events.

This collection also focuses on giving back to the very community it aims to represent. Nike has provided 13 organizations with a total of $625,00 in donations in FY22. The Nike N7 Fund, which was created to connect Native American and Indigenous youth to play, sport and physical activity programs, has awarded more than $8 million in grants administered by the Charities Aid Foundation of America to more than 270 communities and organizations between 2009 and 2021. WHEN IS THE NIKE N7 COLLECTION RELEASING?
