This year’s women’s NCAA tournament provided an amazing amount of sparks, as it became the most watched tournament in history.
Those millions of eyes were able to witness the Air Jordan 38 debut on UCLA star, Kiki Rice, Jordan Brand’s inaugural NIL athlete. The minimalist white/black/red coloring was a stark contrast from the bright UCLA blue and gold hues on the uniforms. An icy outsole sets the foundation for black perforated fabric and crisp white leather on the upper. The shoe is finished with a large Jumpman logo on the tongue.

Jordan Brand continues to set the mark for celebrating and uplifting women. Choosing a women’s basketball star to debut its latest in-line iteration is yet another sign of JB being intentional with inclusivity.
We are still waiting for release details for the AJ38, but the slimmer silhouette and clean color blocking have us looking forward to what the AJ38 will bring.
