Springtime is here and that means a season of rebirth and reinvention. While we transition from winter to spring fashion, we oftentimes look towards silhouettes that are both functional and spruce up our wardrobe. Actor, singer and rapper Tobe Nwigwe always ensures to intertwine his Nigerian heritage at the forefront of everything he does and his recent collection with Reebok is no different. 

The Reebok x Tobe Collection brings in niche design elements with classic football silhouettes. The lineup features a range of elevated top and bottom options that are perfect for layering this upcoming season such as the zip off pants that can be transformed into shorts or the staple vest. However, there isn’t a lack of more staple pieces such as the unisex relaxed fit oversized tee that’ll be a go-to for both you and bae. The coaches jacket, jersey and sideline jacket are inspired by Tobe’s roots in football and the feeling of the preseason. The word “Chukwu,” which means the divine or supreme being in the Nigerian Igbo language, is sprinkled throughout and pays homage to Tobe’s Nigerian heritage, to bring faith, identity and culture to the forefront of this collection. Each piece comes in both a black for a subtle option and mint for a pop of color that symbolizes things falling into place as they are ‘mint" to be.
