We Celebrated The Air Jordan 4 'Bred' Release With a Ladies-Only Party

The release of the Air Jordan 4 "Bred" was one of the more celebrated releases this spring for several reasons. While the Tinker Hatfield-designed shoes' re-release became a must-have for a variety of collectors, the wide array of size runs for this particular re-release translated into a significant opportunity for those of us in the small-feet-tribe to stay rooted in Retros and ring in thirty years of the AJ 4.

While we were definitely geeked to get our hands on this coveted drop, it was by far more important for us to help ladies in our CNK Crew grab the shoe too. As blessings would have it, we were able to team up with Women Within, a platform to celebrate and present the beauty of Sisterhood in our local communities, for a ladies-only Bred-themed release event specifically for the sneakHER community in Charlotte, North Carolina. From CNK-stenciled lattes and a full sock customization station, ladies across Queen City joined us at Be Social for a morning of honest conversation and a chance to cop their Breds before the boys.

Take a look below at the visual recap from our day in Charlotte.

After guests settled in with lattes, we got the discussion started with a panel featuring our own EIC and two ladies we love here at CNK: Astasia Williams and Melissa Cantey. After the Q&A, the ladies were treated to a custom sock station complete with ribbons, iron-on patches, and embroidery options.

A huge thanks to everyone who made this happen, Women Within and Social Status for an amazing space, and to all the ladies who came out and spent the morning with us in Charlotte. If you'd like us to host something similar in your city, reach out to us. We had so much fun connecting!
