SneakHer Style Tip: Winterizing Your Favorite Jumpsuit

You know how you would like to be cute but not look like a bear during the cold months but have no idea how to style your favorite pieces without them looking to bulky? Well, I'm giving you guys a SneakerHer Tip on how to be fly and still warm. I'm also giving you guys the tea on my favorite sneakers to wear during cold weather, whether it's raining or snowing. Got it? Got it.

As you guys know everything depends on the weather, especially here in Chicago where temps can reach below -15 degrees. For this particular outfit, I wouldn't dare wear if it was below 25 degrees because it just wouldn't work for me. However, on a day that's about 35, we'll definitely give this look a go! This also happened to be the outfit I wore during our time at the Makers Studio at RSVP Gallery and my Sneaker Story.

The Nike Air Jumpsuit that I am wearing is pretty light weight and the sportsbra (obviously) didn't provide much coverage so, it was important that I layer this outfit with pieces that would keep me warm. While the jumpsuit isn't insulated, it is longsleeved and you can zip it up for some extra protection. Me? I kept the zip low for the extra flair. I opted for this HM Puffer Jacket that I copped on Black Friday which is currently on sale, you guys. The jacket is an added statement piece with it's bold red color and on trend since Puffer Jackets are in right now and I can't see them going anywhere anytime soon.

I also made sure to keep my head warm with this Nike Air Surplus Beanie that I received at Nike x Nordstrom.

For sneakers this winter, I've been wearing my Nike SF Air Force 1 Mid. These are literally my go to sneaker (I leave them out of the box for easy access) whether it is raining outside or fresh snow on the ground. These are built pretty tough; they are made of premium leather and nylon. These are available in several colorways; Vast Grey, Siltstone Red, Orange Quartz, Mushroom and more.

I consistently pair these with my Nike socks because they are pretty long and keep my ankles warm. It also adds a nice touch if people just happen to see your socks!

When in doubt always layer where necessary! I've included the things I wore above for you to shop below!

What are you rocking in this cooler weather? Let us know how you stay cute, cozy, and WARM.
