Wish List: Adidas Ultra Boost Collection w/ Stella McCartney

February 2015 found adidas following up the Kanye Boost release with the news that their flagship Boost-cushioned running shoe, the Ultra Boost, would be the foundation for the Ultra Boost Collective.

The goal of the Ultra Boost Collective seems to shift towards embracing both a high-performance sneaker and a fashion staple, featuring creative collaborative designs by the likes of Stella McCartney, Kris Van Assche, kolor’s Junichi Abe, and adidas Creative Directors Dirk Schönberger & James Carnes.

Kicking off the collective is the just-unveiled silhouette by none other than Stella McCartney. Already a long-time collaborator with adidas, McCartney restructures the upper of the Ultra Boost and opts for a black/smoked pink/eggshell color palette paired with mesh side panels and striped detailing on the toes and heels.

The Ultra Boost by Stella McCartney will be available exclusively in London in honor of the London Marathon on April 25th. It will be available globally on May 8th and will retail for $295 USD.
