adidas Originals Levels Up With Designer Danielle Cathari

We must preface this with a "IT'S LIT!" because the new adidas Originals x Danielle Cathari collaboration is everything. The Dutch designer has used her own personal style and inspiration to rework classic adidas tracksuits and more in a killer fall lineup.

 “It’s really a mix: 50 percent of the Adidas DNA, 50 percent of my DNA. I did integrate, as a starting point, the classic Nineties three-stripe details and snap buttons. Next to that I added my signature, which is reimagining classics like deconstruction elements and working with contrasts.”

What we love most about this collaboration is how refreshingly creative it is. A mix of contrasts and vintage vibes remastered. Danielle kept the signature 90s feel of three stripe tracksuits, snap buttons, and trefoil logos while mixing it up utilizing unique placement to shake up the overall design. Featuring a variety of materials and colors, Danielle created two parts to this new three stripes collection and we need these pieces in our closets ASAP.

The first part concentrates on the tracksuits with colorways representing four major cities: Orange/NY, Yellow/Paris, Pink/Shanghai, Blue/London, and adding in a black/white for classic appeal. Check out snaps of the looks below.

The second part has a focus on remixing athleisure pieces while keeping a street appeal that boasts fierce femininity. From a cargo style to a more tapered pant, each look touches on a variation that every woman could rock with confidence. The pieces can be worn as separates to mix and match colors and materials alike. Whether you are feelin' a terry cloth bodysuit or the creative denim set - girl get you some!

Danielle Cathari introduced the looks at NYFW this week with the assistance of adidas brand ambassador Kendall Jenner. These are set to drop tomorrow online and in NYC. Stay tuned!
