Event Recap: Get City Ready At The Just Do It HQ
Chicago's Just Do It HQ has served as a hub for all things Nike Women for the past couple of weeks. We've seen it transformed into Brauhaus and now, we've seeing the space get the ladies motivated for the Chicago Marathon - stay tuned for that, BTW. Recently, we got the chance to hit up HQ yet again for a preview of the Nike City Ready Collection that consists of 9 pieces of apparel that can go with you from point A to B.
After we teamed up to show you all another fire Nike Sports Pack for fall, this City Ready Collection was the icing on the cake. The Just Do It HQ mannequins were styled by Blake Von D, who is an Attorney and stylist in Chicago. Blake curated the space and outfitted all of the mannequins in the collection from head-to-toe. Not only did we get a chance to view the collection, we also had the opportunity to try things on and purchase them on site. With the help from Blake and other stylists in the room, we were able to put together a look and learn more about the collection. I decided to try on the black bodysuit which fit amazing along with a pair of NikeLab cargo pants with my Air Jordan 1, which will be super cute for a chill day running the city.
There also was a makeup touchup session with Glossier, which got us ready for a photo op. Another highlight of the evening was the sock customization. Attendees were able to pick between a pair of white Nike socks and add their initials or anything else they wanted or a pair of purple graphic socks that highlighed each side of the city of Chicago. I opted to get a pair of the socks that represted the Westside.

Even though the City Ready Collection is no longer at the JDI HQ, Nike is preparing runners for the Chicago Marathon which takes place this week.
From 10.4-10.6, you can visit the JDI HQ between 10:00am-7:00pm for complimentary customization with purchase of post-race slides or bras, and sign up for pre-race visualization meditations before the big day. Then on 10.7 join them for recovery services.
