This past Sunday, we had the opportunity to pound the pavement with Nike Chicago as they ready for this week's Chicago Marathon. While our Sneaker Diary is usually reserved for showing off fly fits paired with our favorite kicks, this time we thought we'd hip you to a Sunday RUNday lituation. Basically, slay while you sweat - cool? Cool.

We started our day in the heart of Chicago's West Side and instantly felt the vibe of Nike's RISE CHICAGO initiative. Rise Chicago celebrates the power of sport in this great city by tapping into a sense of community alongside Nike athletes, employees, and consumers in the oft-underserved neighborhoods we live in everyday. Throughout Chicago Marathon week, Nike is committed to RISE throughout the city by teaming up with local businesses and youth organizations dedicated to creating positive change in communities through the power of sport. After a morning cup of coffee and some catch up, we hit the streets in the NikeLab Zoom Fly SP.

The Nike Zoom Fly is built for long runs, race day and a jog around the park. These sneaks just make you faster. The shoe includes a full-length carbon-infused nylon plate within the midsole feels like it propels you forward with every step, so you're just that much closer to your goals. It also features our favorite cushioning system, Lunarlon. The cushioning combines soft and firm foam for a balance of shock absorption, stability and response, without sacrificing comfort.

Plus, these look pretty good so we won't be mad if we see you dressing these down with Nike Tech Fleece this Fall/Winter either.

At the end of eventful day with NikeLab Chi all attendees were gifted with a pretty big surprise, and not just any surprise but, a pair of the NikeLab Air Zoom Fly SP "Chicago".
