These adidas UltraBOOST 3.0 Colorways Will Be Here Sooner Than You Thought

Remember last year when adidas caused a bit of Q4 frenzy by introducing the world to the NMD at the close of 2015? Well, it looks like their taking a new approach at the start of 2017 with the UltraBOOST 3.0.

In the last few months, we've seen a steady (slightly aggrivating) unveil of various new 3.0 colorways. From "Waves" to that maroon joint we pretty much drooled over, the UltraBOOST is definitely on the Wish List radar. Lucky for us (and you) the two colorways above should be ready for copping in just a few weeks.

For this upcoming Chinese New Year, adidas gives the Ultra BOOST 3.0 silhouette a lucky red treatment. Adopting a more subdued take on the traditional bright red colorway of previous Chinese New Year-themed releases, this year’s version features a speckled maroon Primeknit upper, patterned laces with matching lining, and the signature black lace cage and white BOOST midsole. For an extra touch of good fortune, the tongue is marked with modern CNY branding and the laces feature bright red aglets.

The Trace Cargo option features an olive and black colorway marbled onto the UltraBOOST Primeknit upper. A matching olive matte cage and ultra white BOOST midsole completes the colorpop.

The e-streets are buzzing and it's rumoured that both of these colorways will see release in January 2017. So, save those holiday pennies and stay tuned for more release details. We're definitely watching.
