The Ultimate: You Can Finally Nab a Pair of Self-Lacing Nike Air Mags...Maybe

This pin may be the closest any of us get to owning a pair of the Nike Air Mag - maybe.

Back in October 2015 Nike started major sneaker world rumblings when Michael J. Fox popped up on social media in a pair of the self-lacing Nike Air Mag, modeled from his iconic film series starting with 1989's Back to the Future.

One year later the Air Mag is buzzing again as the Swoosh and The Michael J. Fox Foundation team up to deliver 89 pairs through an online draw.  By donating $10 per raffle spot (you can donate as much as your budget permits, by the way) you receive one entry to win a pair of the coveted shoe.  All proceeds will go to the Foundation’s research in the fight to cure Parkinson’s disease.

The 2016 Nike Mag combines the archetype invention with a new HyperAdapt 1.0 technology and a responsive system. Adaptive Fit, essentially, will tighten or loosen in accordance with your movement. So, how can you cop? You can enter now at nike.com/mag or via the Nike+ App. Tickets are $10 and the more tickets you buy, the greater your chance to win. The drawing started on October 4 and will end October 11. Winners will be announced October 17.

In addition, one pair will also be auctioned live in Hong Kong on October 11, in London on October 14 & 17 and in New York on November 12 at The Michael J. Fox Foundation’s Benefit Gala. Good luck girls (and guys)!
